Racing fans are now ‘so excited’ after seeing Logan Sargeant’s next career move after Formula 1

Logan Sargeant’s next move after Formula 1 has finally been revealed, with fans eager to see how he gets on following his dismissal by Williams.

The American was dropped after the Dutch Grand Prix by Williams following an expensive crash in practice, whereby he destroyed his FW46 and was forced to miss qualifying.

The incident not only cost them thousands in repairs, which added to Williams mounting crash damage bill in 2024, but also prevented them from starting strong at a circuit they were most likely to score points.

F1 paddock rumours went into overdrive following the crash, with Williams duly announcing that Franco Colapinto would be replacing the American for the remainder of the season.

Now that Sargeant has been out of a drive for several months, plans for his racing comeback have finally emerged on social media.

The fan club of the driver also got involved: “SARGENATION WE R SOOOO BACK BABYYYY,” with another taking to Twitter to say: “LOGANG WE WON.”

Another fan also expressed their excitement: “YESSSSS OMG I CANT WAIT FOR NEXT SEASON WOWWEE,” while one simply was surprised at the news and said “OMG.”

Sargeant is rumoured to be considering a switch to IndyCar full-time, which would make sense given that he is an American driver and the series primarily races across the US.

He recently tested with Meyer Shank Racing at the Thermal Club in October, fuelling rumours that he could make his debut in the series next year.
