Haas will field an all-new driver pairing in 2025 with Esteban Ocon partnering with Oliver Bearman.
The Frenchman moves over from Alpine after confirming the transfer midway through the season. Ocon was released from his contract before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to allow him to run with Haas in post-season testing.
Bearman joins the American team after making three sub appearances in 2024 – one with Ferrari and two with Haas. Together, the Brit and Ocon will look to continue the momentum from an impressive campaign last year as the American outfit narrowly missed out on sixth in the constructors’ championship.

F1 fans are loving the ‘Bearcon’ partnership at Haas – but there has been some scepticism about the line-up, particularly with Ocon. The 28-year-old has built a reputation for colliding with his teammates, most notably with Sergio Perez at Force India and Pierre Gasly at Alpine.
Haas boss Ayao Komatsu says Bearman and Ocon cannot crash as teammates – he is immediately looking to avoid the latter repeating his mistakes in the past.
Christian Danner predicts the Haas drivers will clash at some point in the season. However, there is no indication of that happening at the moment with the duo seemingly creating a strong relationship already.

Esteban Ocon says Oliver Bearman’s technical knowledge at Haas has been ‘very impressive’
For the first time in his career, Ocon will take a senior role within a team as he coaches Bearman through his first full season in F1.
Speaking with talkSPORT Driving on the red carpet of the F1 75 launch event, the Frenchman says it is ‘a lot of fun’ to work with Bearman at Haas.

The 28-year-old was loving his teammate’s ‘very impressive’ technical knowledge as just 19 years old. The pair will look to push the American outfit forward in 2025.
“We’ve just had a week together in New York and it was great to know Ollie. He’s a great prospect for the future for Formula 1 and such a fun character,” said Ocon.
“He’s a very kind guy outside of the car and then he’s very competitive for sure. That’s a lot of fun to be around him.
“We talk a lot about technical things, he knows a lot about Formula 1 already. He’s very impressive on the technical knowledge.
“So yeah, we’re going to be working well together to make the team progress.”

Oliver Bearman’s ‘dream’ is to achieve something Haas have never done in F1
Ocon may have significantly more experience than his teammate, but in a way, Bearman is at a slight advantage given his time with Haas in 2024.
The Brit grabbed a point in Baku and finished 12th in the rain-soaked race in Sao Paulo. Prior to this, Bearman finished seventh on his F1 debut in Jeddah for Ferrari, becoming the first driver to score points in his first two races for two different teams.

Heading into his first full-time assault at F1, the 19-year-old is looking to make a step up. Bearman knows he must get ‘stronger and stronger’ during his rookie campaign and his previous performances suggest he is more than capable of doing so.
The teenager will also certainly have the backing of the fans. Bearman was a ‘fan favourite’ at F1 75 as the latest Brit on the grid received a loud cheer as he walked on stage.
Bearman is looking to achieve a podium with Haas – they have not scored one in their nine-season stint in F1. It seems like a big task, but Alpine’s double podium in Sao Paulo proves nothing is impossible.
