The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix takes place for the fifth time in a row in 2025, having made its debut at the end of the 2021 season.
The Jeddah Corniche Circuit is a 3.8-mile track that features 27 corners, with the race being the fifth full-time night race on the calendar alongside Singapore, Bahrain, Las Vegas and Qatar Grands Prix.
The Saudi Arabian GP was originally situated at the end of the calendar but was moved to an earlier slot in 2022, where it has remained since and is contracted to host races until 2027.
F1 Oversteer takes a look at some of the most successful drivers at the circuit, which is known for being one of the toughest on the calendar.

Max Verstappen is the most successful driver in Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
Max Verstappen is the most successful driver at Jeddah, having first triumphed in 2022 after a late race battle with Charles Leclerc, in which he fought back from fourth on the grid.
An early Safety Car enabled Leclerc and Verstappen to pit and jump the rest of the field, with the pair battling for the lead within the final eight laps. Using DRS, Verstappen took the lead into Turn 1 on Lap 46 and sealed his first victory.
His 2024 win was more straightforward, winning with ease from Sergio Perez and a full 18 seconds clear of Leclerc who finished in third for Ferrari.
Lewis Hamilton took victory in 2021, which would put him level on points with Verstappen in the title showdown heading into Abu Dhabi, while Perez won one of three races in 2023 behind the wheel of the RB19.

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix has only one repeat winner
In the four years that the race has been held, there has only been on repeat winner: Max Verstappen.
His victories in 2022 and 2024 are the only time a driver has won the race more than once in its four-year history.
Saudi Arabia is one of five tracks Perez took victory at in his F1 career, the others being Azerbaijan, Singapore, Monaco and Sakhir.
Hamilton was the first winner around Saudi Arabia, having led the race from pole and got into a scrap with Verstappen at the end, which eventually saw the Dutchman penalised for erratic driving when he collided with the Mercedes driver on the straight before Turn 27.
