Jennifer Lopez certainly turned heads as she entered the paddock of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix today. As a special guest of Ferrari, the multi-hyphenate artist will be singing after today’s qualifying.
The 55-year-old is headlining tonight’s performance alongside the likes of Major Lazer, PartyNextDoor, and Usher. This will be her first performance at a Formula 1 event in 11 years, with her latest taking place at the 2014 Singapore Grand Prix.
The Jeddah track has welcomed a number of high profile performers over the years, with Justin Bieber, Alicia Keys, and Calvin Harris amongst them. But today wasn’t all about music for the singer-songwriter. As a known fan of the sport, Lopez made the most of her time with a VIP badge as she hung out at the Ferrari garage, took a tour of the paddock, and took photos with the Scuderia squad. She even managed to squeeze in a conversation with Formula 1 chief Stefano Domenicali.
Her outfit choice, a pink and skin-tight latex jumpsuit, was an interesting choice for a race known for its high temperatures, and this weekend has been no different. Track temperature reached upwards of 55°C today, with humidity reaching around 60%. Despite this, Lopez looked plenty happy as she soaked in the atmosphere of qualifying.

As mentioned before, Lopez attended the 2014 race in Singapore, but in 2023, at the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix, she and her then-husband Ben Affleck hosted a poker tournament to raise money for the Batman actor’s non-profit organisation, the Eastern Congo Initiative.
While some fans of the sport argue against celebrities being invited to the paddock, interestingly, the post the Ferrari team published to its Instagram account has already racked up over 279,000 likes at the time of writing, far outperforming any other recent post. There’s no doubt that the overlap between F1 and entertainment is vast.
