The 2025 Austrian Grand Prix Legends Parade is set to include some of Hollywood’s most iconic cars and bikes from fan-favourite films and TV series.
Among them will be an APXGP car from the F1 movie as it hits theatres on the same weekend. Driven by Brad Pitt and Damson Idris during the film, the cars use a Dallara-built Formula 2 chassis with bodywork to resemble a current-era Formula 1 car.
Other cars included in the Legends Parade will be Niki Lauda’s 1975 Ferrari 312T and 1976 Ferrari 312T2, both from the 2013 movie Rush, starring Chris Hemsworth as James Hunt and Daniel Bruhl as Lauda.
Four cars from the Fast & Furious franchise will also be included along with the 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Shelby GT500 ‘Eleanor’, driven by Nicolas Cage in the 2000 classic Gone in 60 Seconds, the Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger, driven by Sean Connery, and the 1968 Ford Mustang from the Steve McQueen-led film Bullitt.
Tom Cruise’s Top Gun Kawasaki GPZ900R Ninja will join the cars on track, along with a Porsche 356 Speedster.
The race weekend at the Red Bull Ring, scheduled for 27-29 June, will see the famous cars take to the track as well as drift shows, air displays, and live concerts.
Last year’s Legends Parade featured former F1 drivers including Gerhard Berger in Michael Schumacher’s F2002, David Coulthard in the RB1, Emerson Fittipaldi in his 1972 Lotus, Johnny Herbert in Elio de Angelis’ 1982 Lotus, and Patrick Friesacher in the RB8.
