Red Bull has enjoyed some brilliant driver lineups over the years, having achieved eight Drivers’ titles and six Constructors’ Championships since they joined the grid in 2005.
The Milton Keynes squad celebrates 10 years in 2025, having recently reached their 400-race milestone at the Miami Grand Prix.
Christian Horner has been at the team since the very beginning for the last 20 years and has overseen a lot of their drivers come and go, having recently made a tough decision on their lineup at the start of 2025.
But out of the 14 drivers that have raced for the squad, which ones would be in his ideal lineup? Horner revealed his ‘no-brainer’ picks in an interview with PlanetF1.

Christian Horner picks Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel as best all-time Red Bull lineup
Red Bull has achieved extraordinary records in a relatively short space of time, in part due to having brought F1 design genius Adrian Newey onboard.
Newey left Red Bull last year and has since joined Aston Martin, who are expected to be one of the key title contenders for the 2026 season.
Red Bull’s form has dropped off since Newey’s exit, but Max Verstappen has been carrying them in the Constructors’ Championship and keeping them in contention for a fifth Drivers’ title in a row.
When asked about his ideal lineup, Horner mentioned the Dutchman alongside another former world champion: “It’s a no-brainer! Max and Sebastian [Vettel] with Daniel [Ricciardo] as your reserve and David Coulthard as your ambassador!”

Max Verstappen now scoring over double the points of his teammates
The last two seasons have seen a significant gulf in performance between Verstappen and his teammate, with Yuki Tsunoda now the latest in a long haul of drivers.
Tsunoda has only scored 10 points so far in 2025 compared to the Dutchman’s 137 points, although Helmut Marko believes the Japanese driver is closer to Verstappen in terms of lap time.
Last year, Verstappen ended up scoring over double the amount of points scored by Sergio Perez, who ended the year 285 points off his teammate.
Questions are rightly being asked about how Red Bull would look without Verstappen, given he could leave the team if they fail to achieve certain performance benchmarks.
