F1 fans all say the same thing as Visa Cash App Racing Bulls reveal 2025 livery at F1 75 Live

Visa Cash App Racing Bulls took the covers off their new car for the 2025 season at F1 75 Live at The O2 in London, but fans were fast to spot one thing with their new look.

The new season marks another slightly new dawn for the Faenza outfit after Red Bull GmbH, once again, changed the team’s name for the latest term. They were known as Toro Rosso in 2006 until 2019, then AlphaTauri from 2020 to 2023 and also Visa Cash App RB over 2024.

Yet after admitting their name disguised the team’s identity and also raised lots of questions about what RB actually stood for, a tweak for the 2025 Formula 1 season sees them become Visa Cash App Racing Bulls whilst rookie Isack Hadjar also joins Yuki Tsunoda in their line-up.

F1 fans spot similarities between Racing Bulls’ 2025 livery and Red Bull’s Honda tribute at the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix

Hadjar is the latest graduate of the Red Bull Junior Team to debut in Formula 1 for the team now known as Racing Bulls. But the ties between the Faenza natives and their sister team in Milton Keynes also extended into Racing Bulls’ new livery shown at F1 75 Live for many fans.

Lots of Formula 1 fans were quick to take to social media noting the similarities between the new Racing Bulls livery and the one-off design Red Bull ran at the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix in tribute to Honda. The 2025 term is also Red Bull and Racing Bulls’ last with Honda engines.

Red Bull initially designed their all-white change livery for the 2021 Japanese Grand Prix as it would have been their final race at Honda’s own circuit after the Japanese brand announced plans to pull out of F1. But the Suzuka race was dropped due to Japan’s Covid-19 measures.

The livery was a hit with F1 fans at the time, though, and Racing Bulls’ new look unveiled at F1 75 Live has drawn memories of Red Bull’s Honda tribute for lots of fans. One shared on X “[I] wonder where they got this idea from?” whilst another simply asked: “Turkey 2021???”

Seeing the similarities between Racing Bulls’ new look and the Honda tribute livery also saw one supporter note: “The white Red Bull livery has returned, just on the wrong car!” Others gave more simple responses, too, with one noting: “Honda Red Bull tribute livery is back!”

The similarities between their designs were clear for many fans, with another adding: “Red Bull Turkey 2021 inspired.” Another also shared: “The Red Bull livery from Istanbul is back.”

Honda initially planned to pull out of F1 after the 2021 season, which saw Red Bull win their first drivers’ title through Max Verstappen with the Japanese brand’s engines. But Honda did stick around after the 2021 campaign to supply Red Bull and Racing Bulls with power units.

Yet the 2025 season will mark Red Bull and Racing Bulls’ last quest with the Japanese brand. Aston Martin will become a works Honda engine team from 2025 with F1’s new power unit and chassis regulations, while Red Bull will build their own engines in partnership with Ford.

So, like many fans have suggested, the new Racing Bulls livery revealed at F1 75 Live may be a nod towards the Faenza outfit and Red Bull’s split from Honda once again. The two liveries are, after all, very similar from what Red Bull intended to race for Honda at Suzuka in 2021.
