Lewis Hamilton’s life at Ferrari has been off to a difficult start with a disqualification in China and slowly dropping off the pace of teammate Charles Leclerc.
Although Hamilton could win the Sprint race in China with relative ease from pole, the team had to change the setup parameters of his Ferrari after their disqualification in the Grand Prix for excessive plank wear.
This has had an impact on his form in recent races, although Hamilton is banking on upgrades to his car throughout the season for any turnaround in form.
Karun Chandhok thinks Hamilton’s biggest problem has been the deficit to Leclerc and dealing with it, while Martin Brundle has admitted that it has become hard to watch his post-race interviews.
Irrespective of his problems on track, fans of Hamilton and Ferrari spotted something recently in a video posted by them on Instagram that he didn’t do as much at Mercedes.

Carlos Sainz was better than Lewis Hamilton in one area
Hamilton replaced Carlos Sainz at Ferrari, with the Spaniard being forced to move from the team to Williams with a year left on his contract.
After Hamilton’s disappointing start to life at Ferrari, one stat has proved that Sainz was slightly better in one key area.
Sainz struggled to match Leclerc in qualifying, but in the races he was much closer to Hamilton who is now around six tenths adrift of the Monegasque.
The stat has been compiled over the same period of time, which Sainz much closer to the performance of Leclerc compared to Hamilton.
