F1 Monaco Grand Prix weather guide: Hints of rain for qualifying?

The 2025 Monaco Grand Prix is fast approaching. With averagely high temperatures expected over the weekend, the most important day of the race weekend sees a slight chance of rain. 

2025 Monaco Grand Prix weather forecast

Friday, 23 May

Practice 1: 13:30 – 14:30 local time
Practice 2: 17:00 – 18:00 local time

The Friday is expected to be generally clear with temperatures reaching 22°C. Humidity will sit at approximately 57%, and only 16% chance of rain. Winds point South-South-West and are expected to be between 5-10mph.

Saturday, 24 May

Practice 3: 12:30 – 13:30 local time
Qualifying: 16:00 – 17:00 local time

While the temperature is expected to be the same 22°C as the Friday, the chance of rain increases to 24%. Humidity rises alongside it to 64%. The wind changes direction to South-South-East, but still at 5-10mph, and there will be more cloud over the circuit.

Sunday, 25 May

Grand Prix: 15:00 local time

Once again, the temperature remains the same on the Sunday with skies generally clear. The chance of rain drops to just 2%, with South-South-East winds between 5-10mph. Humidity drops very slightly to 62%. 

This will likely be a warm but comfortable weekend for the drivers.
