The countdown to the all-important Monaco Grand Prix qualifying is on. Home hero Charles Leclerc topped the timesheets during the first two practice sessions around the streets of Monte Carlo, and there is now just one more hour of practice before the crucial qualifying session, which is set to take place on Saturday afternoon.
The first day of the race weekend hasn’t been without its drama, though. Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll has been handed a one-place grid penalty for a collision with Leclerc in FP1, and Haas rookie Oliver Bearman has been given a 10-place grid penalty after overtaking Carlos Sainz under red flag conditions.
Here is everything you need to know and catch up on ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix qualifying session.
