The fifth round of the 2025 Formula 1 season is upon us with the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix set for this coming weekend.
The teams and drivers will be ready to battle high temperatures with free practice 1 and 3 set under the afternoon sun. Free practice 2, qualifying, and the Grand Prix will be under the lights of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. Although temperatures will drop slightly, humidity could still pose a challenge.

Practice 1: 16:30 – 17:30 local time
Practice 2: 20:00 – 21:00 local time
Practice 1 is set to get underway under the heat of the sun with temperatures reaching 33°C with 47% humidity. However, with practice 2 taking place after sunset, temperatures are expected to have dropped to around 26°C but humidity will rise to 52%.
It comes as no surprise that there is only a very low chance of rain at 3% on Friday. There will also be winds WNW between 10 and 15 mph.

Saturday, 19 April
Practice 3: 16:30 – 17:30 local time
Qualifying: 20:00 – 21:00 local time
Saturday, which will feature the final free practice session in the afternoon and qualifying under the flood lights, is expected to have similar conditions to Friday.
During the day, temperatures are expected to reach 35°C with 42% humidity. These are likely to drop to 27°C in the evening, with humidity rising to 53 %. Rain continues to not be a threat on Saturday, with currently 0% chance predicted.
Sunday, 20 April
Grand Prix: 20:00 local time
The race on Sunday will again be under the lights of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. After a hot day reaching 35°C, temperatures during the race are expected to be around 27°C with 54% humidity.
Rain is currently not expected and the night is predicted to be generally clear.
