Ferrari have a real chance of competing for both Formula 1 championships in 2025 amid what is expected to be a mammoth fight with McLaren, Red Bull, and Mercedes.
The arrival of Lewis Hamilton to partner Charles Leclerc will bring extra experience and speed to a team that was agonisingly close to ending a 16-year titleless streak last season.
Ferrari have already debuted their new car at the Fiorano test track ahead of pre-season testing in Bahrain, with both drivers getting a few laps in the SF25.
If their winter developments have gone to plan, they should be in contention for victory at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix next month – a race they won with Carlos Sainz last year.

Their new car looks impressive, and Gary Anderson thinks Ferrari are preparing for traffic with a cooling change compared to their last challenger.

Ferrari has copied F1 car component from customer team Haas ‘for once’
Pre-season testing starts on February 26 at Bahrain’s Sakhir circuit and will see the drivers faced with cooler-than-usual conditions for the time of year in the Middle East.
It means their running won’t quite be as representative as usual, but may be closer to the conditions they expect in Melbourne two weeks later.
Ferrari have already taken inspiration from a key Mercedes part for Hamilton’s arrival and they have gone even further than looking at the rivals around them on paper.

According to Auto Motor und Sport, Ferrari have opted to copy something that Haas have designed ‘for once’ which may bring better cooling to their car in 2025.
With extra slots around their airbox, there is now greater space for hot air to escape from their car and it gives them a better chance of competing at the hotter races they will face.
