Ferrari will arguably be the main attraction at the F175 season launch event in London next month. In Lewis Hamilton, they’ve made perhaps the biggest signing in the sport’s history.
McLaren are the reigning constructors’ champions, while Max Verstappen extended his run of drivers’ titles to four. But Ferrari are generating all the off-season buzz after their move for Hamilton.
Indeed, the 40-year-old’s first official photo as Ferrari driver – stationed outside the house of founder Enzo – has now garnered more than 5.6 million likes. The team shared some more promotional material on Monday.

For the first time, Hamilton and Charles Leclerc appeared together, posing in their new racesuits. Leclerc also revealed a fresh helmet design for the 2025 season.
All 10 teams are obliged to wait until the London ceremony to unveil their new looks. It’s already emerged that Ferrari are planning an ‘intense’ livery change.
So far, Williams are the only team to pencil in a launch date before the London event. But they’ve confirmed that they’ll run with a bespoke livery for the Valentine’s Day affair.
Ferrari hint at new shade as they reveal Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc race suits
According to Motorsport Italy, Ferrari’s new race suits were a hint at their revised livery for 2025. The ‘colour tone’ will be a noticeably ‘darker red’ compared to last year.
The Scuderia will also replace the elements of yellow on the SF-24 with white streaks. Ferrari have occasionally run one-off designs in recent years, adding, for example, a splash of blue at the Miami Grand Prix last May.
The report also confirms that Ferrari will switch from gloss to matte paintwork. There is apparently a very slight aerodynamic advantage in this decision.
Fred Vasseur’s team will display more sponsors than ‘ever before’ this year. Company shares surged a year ago when they announced Hamilton would be joining, and they’re already seeing a positive commercial impact.
Ferrari’s new F1 car will be a mix of two old designs
Italian journalist Giulano Duchessa has offered a glimpse of what the 2025 Ferrari might look like. He suggested it will be a ‘mix’ of the 2022 challenger and the 2008 car that won the constructors’ world championship.
Ferrari are closer than ever to ending that drought, having finished just 14 points behind McLaren last year. As the teams converge at the end of the ruleset, driver talent could make the difference.
And crucially, F1 fans think Ferrari have the best line-up this year. Time will tell whether they were blinded by the hype, or whether the Scuderia’s blockbuster Hamilton play is the final piece.
