Formula 1 fans welcome ‘brilliant news’ after Sky Sports announce ‘excellent’ new pundit for the 2025 season

The 2025 Formula 1 campaign is finally upon us as the sport returns to Melbourne for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.

It’s shaping up to be a fascinating year with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen aiming for a fifth consecutive drivers’ championship and his rivals at McLaren and Ferrari aiming to stop him.

The Australian Grand Prix is exciting not only for the on-track action but because it is Lewis Hamilton’s first race for the Scuderia.

Hamilton has promised Ferrari fans that he will learn to speak Italian, which will be important as he is contracted to drive for them over the next two seasons.

It’s not just the Formula 1 grid that changes every winter, with other notable adjustments in the paddock which may be interesting to fans.

Martin Brundle doesn’t commentate for Sky Sports at every race and they may have just made a signing to ease the burden on him missing some events in 2025.

Sky Sports have announced that the talented three-time W-Series champion Jamie Chadwick will be joining them to offer insight during the 2025 season.

“When you’re involved in a team like Sky, you’re really in the mix of with a lot of experts, and you’re learning so much,” she told The Daily Mail. “From a personal point of view, I’ve always been on the other side (as a driver) so it’s really cool to experience that from the opposing position.”

“Great addition to the team,” said one fan. “Excited to hear you on the broadcast,” added another who is eager for the season to start.

Others are more interested in his experience and what the single-seater champion brings to the table in experience: “Look forward to hearing your insight. Welcome aboard.”

The rest of her fans were all excited to see her in her new role: “Let’s go Jamie,” and “Yes brilliant news I’m a big fan of you can’t wait to see you on sky,” were other messages left.
