Haas completed one of the best season’s in their Formula 1 history in 2024 and will be desperate to build on that success this year.
Team principal Ayao Komatsu decided during last season that a change of direction was needed with their driver line-up.
Haas wanted to keep Nico Hulkenberg but he couldn’t resist the opportunity to join Sauber ahead of Audi’s takeover in 2026.
Despite a strong end to the 2024 campaign, Kevin Magnussen was let go too, leaving Komatsu with two seats to fill.
Esteban Ocon was brought in from Alpine while Ferrari junior Oliver Bearman was called up to take part in his first full F1 season after successfully deputising for Magnussen twice in 2024.
Haas ended up finishing seventh in the Constructors’ Championship, finishing ahead of RB, Williams and Sauber.

Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso have already taken to social media to highlight that their 2025 preparations are already underway and Haas have just done the same thing.
An announcement made on Monday suggests they’re immediately putting their new partnership with Toyota to good use.
Haas set to take part in their first-ever TPC test ahead of the 2025 season

Since Haas joined the F1 grid in 2016, team owner Gene Haas has been trying to keep costs down to a minimum.
The Anglo-American team borrow as many parts as possible from Ferrari and will continue to use their power units for some time.
Haas have since partnered up with Toyota and they will allow Komatsu’s team to begin taking part in testing of previous cars (TPC) runs.

Currently, teams only have three days of official testing before the season starts which takes place at the end of February in Bahrain.
However, short runs of up to 1,000km across a year are allowed to be done outside of this time and taking to social media, Haas announced their plans to utilise this for the first time.
The post read: “Hitting the track for the first time this year.
“Our first-ever TPC test takes place this week in Jerez, Spain! Ollie, Esteban and Toyota GAZOO Racing driver Ritomo Miyata will be running the VF-23.”
Oliver Bearman set to benefit from Haas plans ahead of debut 2025 season
There are six rookies – if you include Red Bull’s new driver Liam Lawson – joining the F1 grid in 2025.
Bearman is the second-most experienced behind Lawson having raced in three Grand Prix in 2024.
The 19-year-old scored points on his debut for Ferrari before leapfrogging previous teammate Hulkenberg at the end of the race in Azerbaijan to finish 10th.

Bearman would have watched on last year as he saw Prema teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli do rigorous testing for Mercedes ahead of his debut this year.
The young Brit was at least able to run in several FP1 sessions, although once he drove for Haas in Sao Paulo, he no longer qualified as a young driver and missed out on the post-season test in Abu Dhabi.
Sky Sports F1 commentator David Croft thinks Bearman will delight F1 fans and is backing him to be one of the sport’s most exciting youngsters this year.
The more miles he can get under his belt before the season starts the better, with every hope that Haas can go one better and be the strongest force in the midfield in 2025.
