As excitement builds for the F1 movie starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, Regal Cinemas has unveiled a novelty popcorn helmet in collaboration with the release.
Priced at $24.99, the helmet is being sold alongside other promotional offers as the premiere date closes in. F1 is set for global release on 25 June, 2025, and will be available two days later in the United States and Canada on 27 June, 2025.
The Apple Original Film, produced in collaboration with Formula 1 and Warner Bros. Pictures, is set to bring fans one of the most realistic racing films, according to several current F1 drivers.
Brad Pitt stars as a former F1 driver making a comeback to the sport for a struggling team. His character, Sonny Hayes, joins Joshua Pearce (portrayed by British actor Damson Idris) in the fictional APXGP team in an effort to lift them to the top of the standings.
The supporting cast includes Academy Award-winner Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, and Emmy Award-winner Tobias Menzies.
The film’s authenticity comes from the involvement of seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, who served as executive producer. On top of this, filming took place during real Grand Prix weekends, integrating the cast with the F1 grid over the past couple of years.
