Lewis Hamilton’s arrival at Ferrari has met with universal acclaim, as the seven-time world champion attempts to win his eighth world title with the team.
The last few weeks have been all about getting to grips with life at the famous Maranello-based squad for Hamilton, having recently attended the F1 75 event to unveil their 2025 livery in front of 16,000 fans onsite and millions worldwide online.
Hamilton gave a one-word answer when asked about driving for Ferrari, as he took in the fanfare ahead of the new season.
The Briton has been working hard behind the scenes taking part in tests with the team at Fiorano and Barcelona, in a bid to embed himself within the Italian outfit.
His engineering team consists of Sebastian Vettel’s former race engineer, Riccardo Adami, while those within Ferrari have been reportedly impressed by one thing according to former F1 driver Jean Alesi speaking to Sky Sports.

Jean Alesi says Lewis Hamilton has ‘impressed everybody’ at Ferrari
Hamilton admitted that his first weeks at Ferrari have been ‘tough’ but enjoyable, while Alesi reveals what people at the team think after working with him so far.
Alesi raced for Ferrari for five years between the 1991 and 1995 seasons, in which he achieved 15 podiums and one race win, and knows what it is like to be part of the special team.
“I know people in Ferrari, he [Hamilton] impressed everybody,” said Alesi.
“He impressed everybody with his presence, from the way he presented himself to the team, it’s really a cultural shock to have such a champion. Without taking anything away from Charles and Carlos, but so far he impressed everybody.”
Ferrari SF-25 has technical tweak that should favour Lewis Hamilton
The Ferrari SF-25 broke cover properly at Fiorano this week with Hamilton driving the car for the first time.
The SF-25 features a pullrod front suspension, which was one of the design tweaks made by ex-Mercedes engineer Loic Serra when he joined the team last year.

Ferrari’s updated suspension should enable them to fine-tune their ride height better, while also offering aerodynamic benefits.
Such a change will have a positive impact on Hamilton, who struggled a lot at Mercedes last year due to varying ride height setups.
