Lewis Hamilton amazes Monaco F1 GP in custom three-piece suit

Lewis Hamilton made an impressive entrance to the Monaco Grand Prix paddock today in a custom-made Calvin Klein three-piece suit.

The seven-time Formula 1 champion has been making the most of the glamorous race weekend after ditching his Ferrari team kit as he entered the paddock for qualifying yesterday, opting instead for an ensemble from the Fall-Winter 2025-2026 menswear collection by Rick Owens.

Today, the British driver continued to share his passion for the fashion industry in a cream, custom, collarless Calvin Klein three-piece suit. He paired the striking look with Cartier sunglasses and an all-black Richard Mille watch.

The shoes are unknown. However, they are similar to Burberry Suede Log shoes which he has worn previously.

Hamilton’s race day look has been put together by his stylist Eric McNeal, who he also worked with to put together his most recent Met Gala ensemble.

Lewis Hamilton to start Monaco Grand Prix from seventh

On track, Lewis Hamilton is set to start the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix from seventh on the grid after being hit with a three-place grid penalty for impeding Max Verstappen during qualifying. Commenting on the incident, Hamilton explained:

“I don’t know if there was some sort of issue with the computer screen. It said that Max was on the lap, and then it disappeared and said it wasn’t.

“They told me he was on a lap, so I moved to the side… then they realised he wasn’t on the lap, so they told me and I started to accelerate.

“I stayed fully to the left. And I wasn’t on the racing line, but of course it was distracting for Max.”

Verstappen also addressed the sketchy moment, stating:

“Well, if you look at the history of things, yes [I think he will get a penalty].

“It’s more a team’s fault, but unfortunately in qualifying of course they normally are quite strict on these things.

“You see the car blocking you and when you’re there at high speed it’s… not nice, let’s say,” he said. “But then I saw immediately, the team told him that I was driving slowly, while I was clearly driving fast, so it’s not Lewis’ fault.

“I quickly chatted to Lewis about it already. That’s the team’s mistake.”
