Lewis Hamilton appeared at the glittering F1 75 event in London and gave his thoughts when asked about his first season driving for Ferrari.
It is probably one of the most anticipated stories of the 2025 season, as Hamilton attempts to win an eighth world title with the Maranello squad.
The last few weeks have been all about preparing for life at Ferrari for Hamilton, with him taking part in tests at Fiorano and Barcelona. Hamilton’s confidantes say he is ready to reach for another level at Ferrari, now all eyes are on whether they will provide him with a car to challenge for titles.
Hamilton was on hand along with Charles Leclerc at the F1 75 launch in London, where the team showed off their tweaked livery for the 2025 season.
Lewis Hamilton ‘invigorated’ driving for Ferrari in 2025
Hamilton has already stated that he was overcome with emotion when he took to the track for the first time in a Ferrari in a behind the scenes video of his first days at the team.
Fans have reacted well to him arriving at the team and putting on the red suit, now Hamilton used just one word to describe how he feels about 2025 after his work with the team so far.
“The word that I am thinking of is ‘invigorated’ because I feel so full and life and so full of energy because everything is new,” said Hamilton to F1 TV.
“Just focused on what’s up ahead. I’m so proud to be part of the team, so new and exciting for me.”

Hamilton is due to take to Fiorano in Ferrari’s 2025 challenger after the F1 75 launch, which will be the first opportunity he has to drive the car.
He has already completed tests in Ferrari machinery in Barcelona through testing of previous cars and Pirelli tyre tests, although Hamilton did crash on one of the runs.

Despite the crash, he has reported positive feedback about the car which gives him a good working ground for the start of the season.
Hamilton will inherit the engineering team previously used by Sebastian Vettel, with Riccardo Adami being his main race engineer on Grand Prix weekends.
