Lewis Hamilton is one of Formula 1’s most successful drivers of all time, having won 105 races in his career and taken seven world titles.
The majority of his success came while at Mercedes where he won six of his titles, of which four were done in successive years between 2017 and 2020.
Mercedes were the kings at the start of the hybrid era, effectively going on an unbeaten run of Constructors’ Championships between 2014 and 2021.
Hamilton’s best years were spent with Nico Rosberg and Valtteri Bottas as his teammates, having only been beaten once in 2016 by the former.
At a recent fan event in London, Hamilton was shown images of his time at Mercedes and picked out one season as being his ‘best’ in his career.

He was handed a trading card which commemorated his seventh title win in 2020, showing when he won in Turkey. When he was asked about the moment, he referred to it as one of his best seasons in his F1 career.
Interviewer: “That card is your most valuable F1 card. I don’t know if you remember that? But it’s actually 2020.”

Lewis Hamilton doing something at Ferrari he ‘rarely’ did at Mercedes
Hamilton was known for participating in some social campaigns with Mercedes, but he would rarely show his lighter side.
Ferrari fans noticed that Hamilton is doing more fun videos at Ferrari, having recently done a video with Charles Leclerc where he ranked his favourite games.
The lighthearted video earned praise from fans on social media, who think Hamilton should do similar content in future to connect with fans.

Karun Chandhok thinks Hamilton’s biggest problem is his deficit to Leclerc, which he will hopefully address in the upcoming races as Ferrari add more performance to their car in the European rounds.
