Ferrari is undergoing a major change ahead of the 2025 Formula 1 season as it welcomes its first full-time British driver for 35 years.
Seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton has arrived from Mercedes with aspirations of adding an eighth drivers’ championship to his collection.
Ferrari nearly ended a 16-year title drought last season but fell 14 points short of rivals McLaren in the constructors’ standings. They needed an extra spark.
The combination of Charles Leclerc and Hamilton brings a blend of youth, experience and talent to their team like no one else on the grid has. Their partnership will be electric and should be thrilling for fans to watch.
Gerhard Berger predicts Hamilton will face one major Ferrari ‘struggle’ and believes that Leclerc may be a challenge too strong for him at the age of 39.
On the other side of the boat, Leclerc has been warned not to get in an ‘ugly’ fight with Hamilton otherwise, it could end in tears for both of them.

Lewis Hamilton warned Ferrari will not change their F1 strategy approach in 2025
2025 will mark the first time in the Brit’s 18-year Formula 1 career that he hasn’t driven a car with a Mercedes engine in the back of it.
Bernie Collins thinks Hamilton faces one troubling challenge at Ferrari – getting used to the new power unit, which he hopes will fire him back to the top of the pile.
Driveability, reliability and learning to function the machinery are all things that he will have to learn and adapt to before the season-opening Australian Grand Prix in March.

He gets the chance to test his 2025 car for the first time at Ferrari’s Fiorano circuit on February 19, one day after the F1 75 live launch.
Ex-F1 strategist Mike Caulfield doesn’t think the Italian team will go out of their way to change their approach for Hamilton this season.
“I don’t think Ferrari will change their approach, though. Not in a bad way, but they’ll just say ‘We’re looking at it, this is what we’re doing’.”
Lewis Hamilton must form a ‘very important relationship’ with Ferrari figure in 2025
There are some familiar faces for Hamilton as he makes the move to Ferrari, including ex-Mercedes engineer Loic Serra.
He also worked with Jock Clear in his first championship-winning season with Mercedes before the engineer was signed by Ferrari in 2015.

Caulfield stressed the importance of him striking up a good relationship with his fellow Brit in a bid to boost his chances of winning at the team.
“I think in terms of going into Ferrari and with the new voices and stuff. They’ve obviously got Jock Clear, who Lewis has worked with before,” he said.
“I think that’s probably going to be a very important relationship for Lewis to settle in with the team and the engineering group. Jock is very good at that kind of aspect of bringing information to Lewis, taking information from Lewis and getting the best out of people. That’s one of his real strong points.”
