Red Bull has revealed the livery it will be running at this years Japanese Grand Prix, which pays tribute to power unit manufacturer Honda at their home race.
Honda and Red Bull’s partnership will come to an end in 2025 after seven years, which has yielded four Drivers and Constructors’ championships.
Red Bull will be switching to its own powertrain produced in conjunction with Ford for 2026, while Honda will be supplying power units to Aston Martin.
The team will run the one-off livery for the Japanese GP that throws back to their iconic ‘White Bull’ used at the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix, although fans have demanded one thing after seeing it revealed on social media.

Red Bull fans demand team keeps Japanese GP livery for the rest of the season
Fans have taken to social media to voice their opinions on the new livery, which is set to adorn the car throughout the weekend.
One fan said that it was a “masterpiece” following how popular the livery was when they ran it at the Turkish GP a few years back.
However, many think Red Bull should keep the livery for the rest of the season, with one fan commenting: “This should really just be the main livery,” while another wrote: “Keep this livery for the rest of the season.”
Other fans agreed: “Petition to run this livery for the rest of the season,” with another commenting: “Just keep it like this for the remainder of the season.” One fan wrote: “It should be this for the rest of the season. THIS IS WAY TOO CLEAN,” with another saying: “Keep it for whole season.”
Some fans think it will be hard to tell both the Red Bull and Racing Bulls apart: “Is Max driving a VCARB this weekend too?” With another fan saying: “It’s actually seems like VCARB Livery.” One fans joked: “”Is that to make Yuki feel like he hasn’t changed teams at all.”
What does Red Bull’s special livery pay tribute to?
Red Bull’s special livery is mainly a tribute to its power unit manufacturer Honda on the occasion of their final home race together at Suzuka.
The livery specifically pays tribute to Honda’s first car that won in F1, the RA272 which raced in 1965 at the hands of American Richie Ginther.
Max Verstappen has won the last three Japenese GPs with Honda power, and is looking to add a fourth victory.
Yuki Tsunoda could be the first Japenese driver since Kamui Kobayashi in 2012 to earn a podium at his home race.
