Japanese Grand Prix: When and how to watch qualifying at Suzuka live

The Japanese Grand Prix weekend is in full swing, and with just one more hour of practice to go, the teams are preparing for qualifying.

The biggest change heading into the weekend was the driver swap at Red Bull. After signing rookie Liam Lawson for the 2025 season, the team decided to move him back to its sister team, Racing Bulls, after just two Grands Prix. Home hero Yuki Tsunoda has stepped up to the Milton Keynes outfit after a four-year stint at Racing Bulls.

Lando Norris topped the timesheets in FP1 followed by George Russell and Charles Leclerc in second and third, respectively. And it was Norris’ team-mate Oscar Piastri who took the top spot in FP2, after four red flags delayed the session. At the time of writing, FP3 has not taken place yet.

Here is everything you need to know to watch qualifying for the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix.
