The 2025 Formula 1 season starts in just a few weeks, but already excitement is growing after the inaugural F1 75 launch in London.
All 10 F1 teams and their 20 drivers were at The O2 to show off their official liveries for the very first time.
Racing Bulls appeared to be the fan’s favourite as they made the biggest fundamental change to how their car will look this season.
However, while a fresh look to the grid is always welcome, ultimately, fans want to see drivers fighting on the track and for both championships to be competitive.
Ferrari and McLaren have launched their cars ahead of pre-season testing starting in Bahrain next week, while Mercedes and Red Bull still haven’t revealed their latest challengers.
McLaren have made some bold design choices, while Ferrari have made a fundamental update to their car that could give them the edge in the constructors’ championship.
There are also a host of driver changes on the grid, with Lewis Hamilton’s decision to swap Mercedes for Ferrari grabbing most of the headlines.
However, Carlos Sainz joining Williams and a host of rookies arriving in the paddock including Andrea Kimi Antonelli mean there are storylines up and down the grid to pay close attention to.
Martin Brundle is one of the voices of Formula 1 and speaking on the F1 Nation Podcast, he’s explained what he expects from the 2025 F1 season.
It’s safe to say he’s just as excited as many of the fans hoping for one of the closest seasons in Formula 1 history.

Martin Brundle predicts ‘all-time classic’ 2025 Formula 1 season
Brundle was asked if he had ever seen anything like the F1 75 launch in the sport before and said: “No, we were just talking about it, Jacques Villeneuve and I about in the past decades, you can’t imagine something like this being possible or even being desirable to get everybody together.
“Formula 1’s so big at the moment and so popular that to see something like this coming together and an arena full of people sold out in a couple of hours, it’s really exciting.

“These are great times for Formula 1.”
It was then mentioned to Brundle that it feels like the 2025 season could live up to the hype and he continued: “I personally think this should be an all-time classic season.
“The regulations are very mature. The teams are on form. The cars are reliable. We’ve got a brilliant line-up of drivers.
“And so I can’t see anything other than a great season coming up.”
Martin Brundle shares what he’s heard about Lewis Hamilton’s first Ferrari
It’s impossible to ignore the hype around Hamilton and how closely his progress over the coming months is going to be studied.
Normally, a driver is given time to embed themselves into a new team, but if Hamilton wants to win an eighth title in 2025, he can’t afford to waste the first few races of the year.
Brundle has heard positive things about Hamilton’s first Ferrari and the Italian manufacturer launched their car at Fiorano on Wednesday.

They’ve made some radical changes as Loic Serra believed that they had maximised the potential of their old design.
Given this is the final year of the current regulations, that’s a risk, especially as halfway through the season they’ll need to adapt the front wing on the car due to the ruleset being updated.
Hamilton will hope that the risks Ferrari have taken will see them gain an advantage over McLaren and the rest of the grid.
If that’s the case, then Hamilton will know the only driver he needs to beat is in the garage next to him.
